Abydos:
Abydos or ( Abdju ) was the center of the god Osiris ( god of death and eternity ). It was the pilgrimage center of ancient Egypt. Everyone had to visit it at least once in his lifetime. It was also the center of the cemeteries of the 1st and 2nd dynasties. It was thought that Abydos was the gate to the afterlife.
The temple you will visit there is the temple of King Seti I ( 19th dynasty ). The temple was begun by Seti I and finished by his son Ramses II. Ramses II’s section is now damaged.
The temple is very unique among Egyptian temples due to the quality of the paintings. The temple was dedicated to seven deities, Osiris, Isis, Horus, Amon-Re, Ptah, Rehorakhty, and Seti I as a god.
There are some amazing scenes, you will admire their quality and their craftsmanship, such as the establishment of the Djed pillar and the different offering scenes.
One among the most important halls among various halls and chambers in the temple is the Hall of Cartouches, with nearly 72 oblong cartouches of the names of Egyptian kings, from Menes to Seti I, thus forming the most important chronological list. Behind the temple lies the Osirion, where it was believed that Seth cast either the head or the heart of Osiris.
Ramses II built a minor temple at the northern end of his father's temple, but it is now almost ruined.

Dendera:
Dendera was the capital of the 16th nome of Upper Egypt.
The temple was dedicated to the goddess Hathor. Hathor (The Cow) was considered by the Greeks to be Hera or Aphrodite. She was the goddess of love, dance, and music. In the temple precinct, two structures stand before the temple: the Mamisi or "birth house" and the Roman Basilica.
Hathor's temple and bathhouse were built in the Greco-Roman period. The temple is well-preserved with astounding astronomical scenes on the ceiling. Twenty-four Hathoric columns support the roof of the first hypostyle hall, making it one of the best Luxor adventure tours.
The temple contains magnificent scenes, such as the goddess Nut and the Zodiac at the top of the temple. You will be admiring all around, focusing on the fantastic crypt at the back end of the temple behind the sanctuary.
On the back exterior wall appears Queen Cleopatra VII making an offering to the goddess. Behind Hathor's temple lies a small temple dedicated to Isis. At the right side of the temple rests a pool with a Nilometer.
