Day 01 Egyptian Museum, Saladin Citadel And Khan El Khalili

The Egyptian Museum:
No Cairo day tour is successfully wrapped up if the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square is not visited. This magnificent museum houses the largest array of Ancient Egyptian artifacts, arraying along over 120,000 treasures that tell the story of one of the greatest civilizations in the world.
On the first floor, there are some artifacts from dynasties 29 and 30, with some items from the tombs of the Valley of the Kings, in particular the amazing treasure of King Tutankhamon.
There are two special rooms containing several mummies.

Saladin’s Citadel:

Having been founded in the 12th century by the great ruler Salah ad-Din (Saladin), this impressive fortress served as the stronghold of Cairo before it was attacked by Crusaders.
During the 19th century, Mohamed Ali built his popular mosque there, which is known as Mohamed Ali mosque.
Khan El Khalili:
Located right in the heart of Old Cairo, Khan El Khalili Bazaar is said to be among the oldest and most famous markets in the Middle East. During the 14th century, the thriving emporium was a symbol of Egypt's rich culture and traditional handicrafts.
There is a big collection of shops, workshops, and coffee shops.

Day 02 Giza pyramids, and Saqqara

The step pyramid complex is the oldest stone structure in history.
Some pyramids were built at Saqqara by the kings of the 5th and 6th dynasties, such as Userkaf, Unas, Pepi I, and Pepi II.
